Children’s Activities –

The Owendale United Methodist Church believes that All children –

 1) Have the power to be disciples

 2) Have the power to remind the church of the wonder, power and excitement of our faith and our relationship with Jesus Christ

 3) Have the power to change the world  

God’s Club –

God’s Club is an after school program for grades 1-4 and 5-8.  It meets weekly for Christian education, arts & crafts and a lite meal.  This program was started by Rev. Lisa McIlyenna  in 1992.  It was later revived by Rev. Alice Sheffield and lead by Rolanda Sweatland and Liz Robinson.  Currently Rhonda Power is the lead teacher of God’s Club, with the help of many loyal supporters.  The Owen-Gage Schools support the program by delivering (by bus) the children to the church doors.  God’s Club is divided into terms/sessions throughout the school year.  Be sure to check the calendar for session dates and times.
